A virtual world refers to a computer-simulated environment in which users interact for the purposes of social interaction, business, entertainment, education or research (citation). Whereas the terms virtual world is often linked to 3D environments, the terms encompasses numerous virtual environments which may take the form of primitive Multi-User Dungeons, social interaction websites, such as Twitter, and online chat rooms. Some of the ethical issues that surround virtual world utilities and technologies relate to their ability to enable graphical representation of virtually any imaginable action such as murder and rape which leads to desensitization and social detachment. Nevertheless, there are virtual utilities that have improved business. Some of these capabilities facilitate virtual tours of a business environment, a 360 view of a product, and training of new employees. The limitless nature of technological advancement offers a convincing signal that indeed virtual worlds’ technologies are infinite and full immersion utilities and social detachment can be expected.

Although the development and design of these utilities depict an unprecedented advancement in technology, virtual worlds can enable graphical representation of virtually any imaginable action. In particular, virtual worlds’ utilities have evolved in the last decade that allow and graphically depict virtually any conceivable immortal act including mutilation, murder, robbery, rape, torture and grand theft ( Brey, 1999). At the same time, virtual worlds’ utilities facilitate role-playing in extended scenarios which include terrorist missions, violence shooting, planning and execution of hostage situation and serial killings.
