Gray’s situation would be classified as legal but unethical. Dr. Gray technically did not break any laws, however, her actions were unethical per work policies and conduct. Dr. Gray might have violated the professional code of ethics, which is ethical/professional standards of conduct/behavior for members of a profession. “In everyday life, individuals’ personal moral codes guide their behaviors and actions. Gray’s situation would be justice. “The justice standard addresses the importance of properly and appropriately communicating the issue so that it is handled ethically and fairly.” (Cellucci et al., 2014). As philosopher John Rawls procedure justice concept stated “If one person is told to cut a cake and let others choose their slices first, the person will cut equally sized slices so that he is assured an equal share.” (Cellucci et al., 2014), I will ensure that she is treated fairly. I will explain to her the importance of good ethical standards in healthcare professions. The ethical violation is clear. Dr. Gray is a representation of the company. Her inappropriate Facebook photos and comments must be deleted or she must make it private from all public viewers. She will be required to correct her actions immediately. To prevent this ethical problem from reoccurring, I will implement a form of educational course to all employees about ethical standards and institutional
