Professional athletes try to gain an unfair advantage by not relying on skills or practices, but by the use of performance enhancing drugs. When children grow up they hear stories of professional athletes who use doping and may think it is okay to do it when they get older. This quote helps show the true importance of how a level playing field is needed in sports. If one or two people in a thousand are doping these one or two people make the playing field uneven. If the future of professional athletics is to cheat to win, no one will ever know what pride it is to win without the guilt of
