The professional team that I will work with to consult, triage, and treat Mr. Martin will consist of a Psychiatrist, a Clinical Psychologist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Clinical Social Worker, Nursing Staff, a Recreational Therapist, and a Treatment Team Coordinator. We will be the team that will contribute to the individualized care of Mr. Martin while focusing on empathy and quality to make his treatment successful.
The Psychiatrist has the special training in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. The Psychiatrist will prescribe the medication that will be chosen for Mr. Martin to take to assist with his mental disorder. The psychiatrist will also act as the Treatment Team Coordinator to help oversee the treatment plan that is in place for Mr. Martin. Consent is required to be provided willingly and not under any type of coercion or undue impact from the expert, family or companions (APA, 2010). We ought to regard and stick to the mutual idea of ethical conduct. I would then offer Mr. Martin legal counsel and also give him informed consent. He was said to be very willing to talk and seemed to love being interviewed.
