Ethical Dilemmas Against RP

CCIB received a telephone call from RP reporting mother Billie has not eaten or had any water in the last four days. RP stated that staff told RP that Billie could not couldn’t have she water because she would choke. RP did mention that a doctor (name unknown) told the facility Billie could not have water, but when RP asked for the doctors’ name and the note stating the facts she did not receive anything. RP reported that her mom may be on hospice but wasn’t totally for sure. RP also reported that the facility is heavy sedating Billie so much that she is like a zombie. RP stated that staff makes Billie and other residents use the “pee” in their diapers because they are too busy to make timely rounds. Lastly, RP reported that the facility told
