Ethical Dilemma Paper

Upon receipt of this referral, I contacted Mrs. Remilong’s daughter Teresa to discuss the case and coordinated a meeting at Mrs. Remilong’s residence for March 27, 2018. I contacted the claims adjuster by email correspondence regarding being assigned and current plans for home visit. Mrs. Remilong was sitting on the couch with her cervical collar on. She was alert and oriented to person, place and time. She reported difficulty seeing as her glasses were lost with the accident, so she is wearing an old pair (3 years) and can’t see anything. She had multiple areas of contusions in different stages noted on her face, arms, chest and hips. She ambulates with a walker for mobility assistance. Her daughter and husband were present.

She recalls a car pulled out from the plant and cutting them off. Her husband hit the brakes and swerved, they went into the gravel and the vehicle rolled and landing on the top. She remembers a bus and saying to herself is this going to stop. When the car stopped rolling, bystanders opened the door and help her and her husband. No air bags deployed. She recalls the ambulance and being transported to the Beaumont Hospital in Troy, MI. She denied loss of consciousness.
