What measures do you feel should be taken to ensure the policy is enforced?
Having your expectations outlined that will should what behavior will be expected of all employee, when you have several individual within an organization with behaviors that are deem disruptive it upset the working environment. Unethical behavior must be address quickly, and if severe will result in the individual being punished, however the employee will response to positive support than from a warning or reprimand. Positive behavior must be reward, for example company recognition, attendance bonus, raffles, and paid time off. So addressing the wide range of cultures when developing ethnic policy is vital, other consideration the HR professional must consider are privacy issues, for example releasing personal information without getting a written consent, or opening personal mail. Employment issues such as document verification, for example many individual along with immigrant will use false document to attain employment, goods and services. HR must consider staff responsibility, for example many businesses have morale clauses in place to ensure that their employee action will not reflect upon the organization, inappropriate behavior with a supervisor or subordinate. During my internet research cash and compensation plans were and area that HR must consider when implementing an ethic policy. Believing this is more geared toward the employee on salary and executive, as we know many will receive compensation due in part to the overall success of their department, the issues is HR should not feel forced to put the needs of top management above others personnel and sponsors, overall there so many area that HR must consider when implementing ethic policy other areas are alcohol and drug, jury duty and conflict of interest to name a few.
