Sorta Marge Rhetorical Analysis

"Sorta you isn 't you." This is the new phrase in most of the commercials for Esurance car insurance. I 've picked a certain commercial from all the Esurance commercials with the new slogan. Sorta Marge is the name of the commercial, and t the beginning of we see something isn 't right on the construction site. A beauty pageant queen sits in the crane machine who isn 't the best at answering questions about her opinion on healthcare in the America of the U.S. But Marge and this beauty pageant queen both like saving money on car insurance but that doesn 't mean the beauty pageant queen can work the crane machine. We 'll be analyzing the propaganda techniques, the appeals being used, and the instincts being preyed on in this commercial.

First, the propaganda techniques that are used in the 'Sorta Marge ' commercial are glittering generalities, plain folks, and bandwagon. How it uses

This commercial has nothing to do with logos or ethos. It uses no real logic anywhere in the commercial why would a beauty pageant queen be working in a construction site on a cane machine no less. Also if the beauty pageant queen is in Mrages place where is Marge? Is she taking the of the beauty pageant queen? Then when the boss of the construction site comes over to the cane to ask what Marge was doing since she was obviously doing something wrong. He asked the women where Marge was and she began to answer the question before going off topic and staring off into an invisible crowd I guess. She begins by saying "I 'm sorta Marge we both like to drives a stick, we both like to save money on car insurance, and we both feel integrity, such as, that of healthcare in the America of the U.S. and therefore. Yes. Thank you." This really confused the guy since you seen him looking behind him wonder what she was looking at and even talking about. This is mostly appealing to people 's sense of humor because of how dimwitted the woman
