Esther Denmark is a middle class 70-year-old single caucasian woman from Chicago, Il. She was referred to XYZ Rehabilitation Center following a hip replacement surgery. Mrs. Denmark has identified English as her primary language, but also speaks fluent German, as well as, some Italian. Mrs. Denmark describes herself as a very dedicated worker and is proud of the fact that she had held the same position as a factory worker for over 35 years. Sometime in 2010, Mrs. Denmark retired from her role as a factory worker. She currently lives alone in her home. Mrs. Denmark mentioned she has 4 children, two sons, and two daughters and 10 grandchildren. Most of the family lives far away and the ones who are close Esther is estranged
