At this time Estella is at gentlelady school and every boy would love to talk to Estella. Unfortunately for them Estella is still heartless and a man-hater, but she doesn’t hate Pip. She might actually love Pip, but she would never know, because she was to taught to suppress her strong emotions. This could not be healthy for a young woman who is still figuring out who she is. At this point of the book we start to pity Estella because we know that it is not her own fault, it is her mother. Though she has done and said very wrong things it is all because of Miss Havisham’s revengeful outlook on men.
When Estella does eventually get married it was to Bentley Drummle. Pip instantly gets a horrible feeling about this marriage. He believes that this marriage is going to be horrifically violent. Which it turned out to be, until Drummle died and Estella left alone. Alone until Pip and her meet again at the Satis house, the only thing Estella has left. When they meet again Estella seems more free, she is more open to Pip. Her feelings can finally show and she can express herself. She opens up to Pip about her feelings for him. Estella apologizes and is forgiven for all that she has
