Establish A Sense Of Honor In A Sports Team

Lehigh, in a sense, is a leader. Lehigh sets standards for their students and teaches them to be contributing members on society and eventually leaders of society. Whether on is on a sports team or in a fraternity, Lehigh wants you to be a part of the community. They encourage students to take up volunteer opportunities and they offer these on and off campus. Lehigh wants their students to go to sports events and support their fellow Mountain Hawks. Lehigh brings excitement to those who visit campus and the excitement seemingly carries through until graduation. Lehigh tries to tie together the student body and creates a sense of pride for the university within each student. I have played softball for eight years and in the same way Lehigh guides their students to be the best that they can be, I try to do the same with my teammates. I want to see my teammates succeed and I encourage them to come to practice, put in effort, and take pride in their abilities and softball itself. Also similar to Lehigh, I try to bring the team together as much as possible.
