The subject being taught is over their head when they do not understand the basics fully before jumping into harder and more elegant things. I believe that a student prospers when a core curriculum is the foundation of what they learn. Common curriculum allows all students to have the same basics for everyone; therefore, providing stability within the school. I will also use this philosophy when children do things that are negative such as blurting, cheating, or anything else that is breaking rules during school by taking a sticker away or the tool that I use. In doing this the student realizes that they lost a reward because of their misbehavior. A teacher must be in control of their classroom in order for proper learning to be enabled.
There are many philosophies that are being used in classrooms around the globe today. Many of them help students learn their studies but also allow teachers to have control over their own classrooms. Although some people might disagree about certain philosophies, the last decision is left up to the teacher. Each teacher should decide which ideology best suits them and their classrooms. When they choose their philosophies, they should enact it and then see the results that follow. Philosophies in education are crucial to our society and will continue to be as long as there is a system of learning in this world. Works Cited
