Teach children to tie shoe laces
Grade level: PK, Kindergarten
Subject: Science (shoes is placed on your feet so that’s body part)
Objective:
• Students will learn how to tie shoes into bunny style way.
• Students will get used to tie their own shoe.
Primary Standards Addressed: PE.K.R.2.2 willingly try new movements and motor skills.
Materials:
• Tennis shoe template printed on construction paper (1 per child)
• Crayons or markers
• Long strands of yarn (1 per child)

Essential Question of the Day: How many shoes do you wear? What do you so you don 't bother on your shoe lace?
Opening:
1) Read a book about shoe tying
2) Show shoe tying video.

It’s a good way to learn about color and what happen if you mix color around. It will be a very excreted for the toddler to learn about specific colors. We’re going to go over colors and what happen if we mix color up.
Guided Practice:
I would model in large group how this activity would be done. Tell the students today we will be sorting candy by colors. Make sure you don’t eat the candy till you were told to do so.
Practice:
I have the children go back to their seats and start the activity and if they need help or raises their hand. Put a bowl of hearts candy on each group tablet and tell them to take a full hand of candy and put it in their plate.
Next, I will go around and checking to see if the colors were sorted correctly, I would ask them to count each candy out aloud from the heart chart. Than I would write the number on the chart.
After all candy had been counted and replaced in the plate the children will be able to color in their heart chart.
Modifications:
Remediation- I will go around and help the students that’s confused and go over the steps with them one by one. Enrichment- select couple of students to do the
