Some essential skills/ techniques that phlebotomist must know are planning ahead this will make the procedure go smoothly when you have all the equipments you need. Having a appropriate location to draw blood at, this location should be quiet, clean and well kept. Motor skills are important because coordination of movement will make it easier to carry out everyday tasks of a phlebotomist. Sensory abilities, using your five senses will help you collect information. Communication skills, you have to be able to communicate with the patient, co workers, providers basically everyone.
