I am not going to get too technical about the chemical properties of the essential oils discussed in this book. There are certainly more books on the market that really dive into the origin of each essential oil, and describe their chemical structure in depth. With that said; eessential oils are not regulated by the FDA. You should do your research before you dive head first into essential oil therapy. Essential oils can be dangerous in high doses, especially in their purer states (more concentrated). If you are pregnant, check with your OB-GYN first before adding essential oils to your beauty regiment, please.
