Uncertainty of Salvation
In these past years, many people are uncertain on how they will spend eternity if they died today. Many people, even Christians, are uncertain about their salvation and where they will spend the eternity. Christians have various beliefs based on their traditions, denominations, emotions and others. Therefore, as a Christian, are you ready for the Judgment Day? Satan deceives people into believing a false perception that they are saved if they are a good person, do good works, religious or have a Christian title in their life. The counterfeit Christians believe that they are a good person in their life by comparing their goodness with the others’ goodness; they believe that they do good works by paying tithes, feeding the poor and giving the charities; they believe that they are religious by attending Church and involving in the Christian ministries; and they believe that they have a Christian title, for instance, Pastor, Teacher, Christian Musician and others. However, Satan deceives these people because they just know the knowledge about the Bible instead of repentance and faith upon God. It is written in Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Characters of Real Christian
First, a real Christian needs to receive God’s Word, live it and bear good fruits, as He said in Matthew 13:23, “But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Second, a real Christian needs to repent if we do something wrong and believe in God’s Words. In Mark 1:15, He said, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye, and believe the gospel.” However, just believe on God’s Word is not enough for being a real Christian; instead, we need to obey the God’s Word (1 John
