He was very upset about Enkidu death. Gilgamesh learned a good lesson about life and not being the person that he once was. He never stops grieving for Enkidu. Gilgamesh know that life is not forever. They never wanted to die or be forgotten.
Gilgamesh was very arrogant. He had great wealth and power. He did not treat the people right because he just thought of his own selfish wants. Gilgamesh and Enkidu was soulmates. He likes to prove himself. Gilgamesh was a powerful person as the king. He was a harasser to others that’s why they had to say something and have something done about it so that he can become a better person to others. He wanted to accomplish things like friendship, companionships, and humanity. Gilgamesh was on a adventure for eternal death, fame and legacy. Gilgamesh had to be taught about civilization. He was trying to search for immorality but he never seems to have any hope. Enkidu makes Gilgamesh a better person not only to himself but to the people of Uruk as well. He also became a better king of Uruk. Gilgamesh had to learn a very tough lesson in that of immortality. He had to think about facing his own death. Enkidu was afraid of dying, but Gilgamesh was not too much worrying about until Enkidu’s death that when he wanted to go searching for immorality. Gilgamesh had many up and downs that he went threw just to figure out who he was as a person. Enkidu had come from the wilderness to civilization to meet Gilgamesh but Enkidu could not have done this without Shamhat.
