LP1 Assignment: Pre-writing Essay My sucessful journey My life started to get successful when I decided to make the most important decision of my life, which was leaving my confort zone to explore the world. Since I was a child I always imagined myself being a brilliant physician, helping people and having a simple life in the little city where I grew up in Brazil. Life was simple and I was always working really hard to accomplish my simple goals of life. Although, when I got high school done I realized that going to a medical school would be very difficult for me in my current reality at that time.So I gave up on my one true life dream and joined in an University completly …show more content…
So in 2013, I decided to leave my confort zone, my photography company and college to boarding in a new adventure. At that time, I had a pretty basic english, which was not a barrier for me. I started to look for options to learn english and travel. I ended up moving to U.S for a year through a cultural exchange program named Au Pair Program, which for who doesn't know it is an international nanny live –in with an american host family in order to work and study ELS English in …show more content…
I met so many different people from pretty much everywhere, from the most different places in the world. I traveled to all the places that I always wanted to travel in the United States, the places that I always dreamed and saw in the movies. I got to taste so many different kind of foods, some of them were not good but it was worth to try. I got to fall in love and become more mature. I got so much more independency, I got to know myself better and got to know my limits as well. Due to my decision of living abroad, I started an youtube channel where I could make daily reports of my Au Pair life and share with my family and friends. At that time, youtube was not something so popular as it is today. But more and more poeple started to watch me and follow my adventures around the world. I finished the Au Pair program, went back to my home country and people kept following me. After 4 years since I started in this crazy adventure, my channel today has 25 thousands followers, people who feel motivated about my life story and now follow me to see more about my student life in U.S.
I receive lots of messages and e-mails from people saying how much I've added to their lives and how much I motivate them to follow their dreams. That is
