Good morning, I am Deatrick Nichols I would like to thank you for this opportunity to share with you a new and exciting business opportunity. Growing up in Miami, Florida wasn’t hard, but it wasn’t smooth sailing neither. I felt I had two options growing up, either to play in the streets or play youth sports, of course, I chose sports. At the age of six, I had the opportunity to choose to participate in baseball, basketball or football, and I naturally enjoy tackling people so football was the obvious choice. At about the age of ten, I realize how much time, effort and money it took for my parents to afford me and my older sister the necessary products to play football and cheer with the optimist youth program. Youth football was a big part of my life and made a big difference in building my character I would like help provide this opportunity to other kids, therefore, I would like to share with you my idea of “3D Sports” youth sporting gear.
This company will specialize in providing youth sports gear to parent and optimist youth club organization in the inner-city areas. The company will target inner city areas such as Miami, Florida where I grew up, this area population is 64% in the age group between 18-64 with a median income of $45,935 per household. There are over 543 youth sports organizations in Florida and at least 26 clubs in the Miami, Florida area. Each program usually consist of at least 6 youth groups of about 200 youths between boys and girls, and all of them are required to have uniforms and gear to participate. Because the gear is a requirement to play sports the buyers such as parents will purchase the products to assure that the youth is eligible to play and is safely protected from physical injury.
