Would effect WWII. well actually they had more of an effect than actual guns had. This was because from one blast they could easily kill one million people, while guns on the other hane you had a chance of being shot, during the civil war there were two main nuclear bombs. There was also not only new bombs during the war but weapons too. The first nuke launched at Japan was in the city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. The nuke was named “Little Boy” and it was dropped from an American Boeing B-29 called the “Superfortress”(Doc. F). This would affect Japan in many ways. You may ask was it necessary to nuke Japan? Japan was not surrendering and were taking innocent lives. We could also nuke them for revenge. On December 7, 1941 Japan attacked the U.S.A. at Pearl harbor while we weren't even participating in the war(Doc. A.). It was also a surprise attack so we were not ready for the attack(Doc. A). They took many innocent lives that day and that is the reason we entered the war. Those are the reasons why it was a good idea to nuke Hiroshima. After the attack on Hiroshima the USA dropped letters to tell the people if they don’t surrender the city of nagasaki would be bombed. The Japaneses did not listen and did not surrender. Shortly after we dropped the nuke on Nagasaki. It caused corruption all over the world. The Japanese leader, Hirohito, was crazy and would not surrender so his military took action and surrendered for him.
