Women have run for Congress, broken olympic records, gone to space, became successful in their fields of study. Yet, women receive less pay in the work field, seemingly to be because men are looked at as being able to get the job done, and do more. Men may also be looked at as worth more. Many Americans do not know that the US Constitution does not guarantee equal rights for men and women. Women throughout America are not given equal rights as men. For centuries, women and men have been treated completely different. Women are beginning to no longer tolerate the inequality and unfairness in their environment.
