There are people in the world who have to fight for freedom and rights, search for food and water, and suffer from immense diseases. We are privileged to be living in one of the world’s greatest countries, Canada. Canada’s independence was on July 1st 1867. Ever since independence, Canada has been becoming one of the greatest countries in the world for their rights and freedom, clean environment, free education and healthcare, etc. In these couple of paragraphs I will be telling you why I am proud to be a Canadian citizen living in Canada.

The first reason why I am proud to be living in Canada is because of rights and freedom. Canada is a multicultural country as it brings about 25,000 refugees a year. It doesn’t matter what your gender is,
