“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish” (Mother Teresa). Abortion has been a debatable topic for quite some years now; even though no one could ever seem to come to a consensus on whether it is wrong or right, good or bad; abortion was made legal on January 22, 1973. The violent act of abortion takes away the right to life from the unborn, innocent baby, and it gives the woman a way out of her responsibility and God given duty of motherhood, and it promotes selfishness. Therefore, abortion should never be legal under any circumstances.

Violent acts done deliberately should not be mistakenly represented as “rights”; they are an act of violence and should have consequences just like any other. …show more content…
Though financial are concerns when raising a child, they should not be the deciding factor for abortion. Programs such as, WIC provides milk and formula for the baby. Welfare provides food stamps that could help out with nutritious meals, and Medicaid provides medical insurance. In addition to using these services, women could get part time job to buy a box or two of diapers a week. With that being said, food, insurance, and housing are covered, and if the money is distributed well, all will be taken care of. Learning how to manage money and spending are key factors in becoming a mother and making sure the child is taken care …show more content…
Babies are beautiful, and all deserve a chance at life. Abortion should never be an option; it is such a cruel and violent act for an unborn baby to endure; they are a blessing from God. Such an act should be made illegal in every state; abortion is not an answer to an unwanted pregnancy. Many other options are available to those who are contemplating
