To be an American means to have freedom unlike any other country in the world. We can vote for our president, pick the job and career that we want, get a good education and say the Pledge of Allegiance. You choose how to live your life and which path to take, while at other countries you are forced what job you will have and what you will do for a living, but you have no say in that decision. The United States of America is the best place for anyone who wants to make something of themselves when they’ve never had a chance.

Honestly, that makes me angry. I believe that anyone who acts in such a way should be put in jail immediately with no exceptions. Our society nowadays is too political and spoiled, which is the reason we have more conflict than in the past.

Sometimes, people take the freedom of speech and expression to their own advantage. Just because you can do or say something does not mean you should. For example, stepping on the American flag.
