The first idea is valor, which is great courage in the face of danger. In the USA, our military troops, firemen, or even everyday people have valor in some of the many obstacles they faced, and have valor because they are doing it for our country. At the 9/11 memorial, we learned that so many people were saved by valor. The firemen had to have valor while trying to get the people out of the World Trade Center buildings. Our liberty defined itself on July 4, 1776 commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. On the DC trip, we saw the Liberty Bell, which was cast in 1752, which is a symbol of American Independence. This bell acted as a symbol for freedom everywhere and it gave many people strength in liberty. At Independence Hall, we learned how important liberty was to our country. It was needed for independence from Britain. The Declaration of Independence is another symbol of liberty. It shows that we are an independant country, and have liberty within rules. The Constitution can also be considered as another symbol of liberty as it is addressing the many guidelines by which our country is created. The Magna Carta is also a symbol. King John agreed to charter liberties that would place him and all of future England within rules of law. This made it so we could have freedom from oppression in England. This goes to show that as Americans, we are given liberty, and
