Over the years, the voluntary sector has added a lot of value to health and social care, in many places by essentially helping them with donations to get more luxury items and more medical equipment to health care places. Their main priority is to ensure that people with disability are valued as, listened to and included in today’s society. They run projects across Wales to ensure that people with learning disabilities have their say and live more independently by giving them more opportunities by having their own shared house or find them somewhere to work, to help keep them in main stream society. The voluntary social care sector doesn’t just help people with learning disabilities they also help young people by providing a social group for young people ages 11-16 to attend in every small town, theses places are run purely by government grants and volunteers working there for free during their free time and for voluntary donations. They also provide such places for the older generations too, such as day centres for the elderly, were when someone is alone there’s somewhere they can go and socialise with others their age and in similar situations to
