Veterinary Tech) I want to know whether I want to go to school to be a vet tech or a vet assistant so I decided to research the job descriptions, the difference in educational requirements, and the schools that offer vet tech programs in in North Carolina.
The job descriptions for both jobs are different but do have some similarities. Vet assistants tend to be more in the front, the person who greets the owners and deals with all the paper work. While the difference is very basic for them people can go on to advance in the career which include a little more education if they wanted to.
