Esfp Characteristics

My results for the Type Focus test were ENFP. The E stand for extravert, the N stands for intuition, the F stand for feeling, and the P stands for perceiving. ENFP’s are outgoing, friendly, and creative. They are curios, and have a desire to find new ways of approaching situations and solving problems. They are flexible, always willing to try something new, they find themselves always pulled toward new adventures, sometimes before they have finished their last endeavor. ENFP’s have the ability to connect and read people and events, they can be persuasive speakers, able to communicate a vision more clearly than others. The qualities that the ENFP personality type possesses often makes them dynamic leaders.

ENFJ personality types show a slight preference toward extraversion over introversion, as well as a moderate preference of intuition over sensing, feeling over thinking, and judging over perceiving. ENFJ’s are tolerant and work well with others as a team, allowing others to voice their opinions, even if they don’t agree with them. They are reliable and can be counted on to get a job done. They are charismatic and instinctively know how to communicate to a particular audience, they are able to pick up on moods and motivations and change their tone and mannerism to suit the needs of their audience, while maintaining their own voice. ENFJ’s are altruistic and have a strong desire to make a positive difference in the world, whether it be in their communities or abroad, they also desire to help people reach their personal goals. Sometimes ENFJ’s are selfless to their own detriment, they become too involved with others goals that they lose sight of their own. ENFJ’s are natural leaders and are often placed in authority at the request of others. Although, they are natural leaders it is difficult for them to make tough decisions, because they look carefully at every …show more content…
Active learners retain information by doing hands on activities and reflective learners retain information by thinking about the subject first. Sensory learners like learning facts and intuitive learners prefer discovering possibilities and relationships. Visual learners retain information best from visual aids and verbal learners retain information by hearing it. Sequential learners understand information best when it is given in steps linear steps, whereas, global learners learn information as a whole and then fill in the details. Every personality type is different in a work environment. ENFPs, like myself are the “inspirers” according to Psychology Junkie. We are very outgoing, gregarious, hedonistic when being motivated by our desires, and we have a certain panache when it comes to connecting with people. The authors of Type Talk, Otto Kroeger and Janet Thueson state that extroverts “think out loud; they clarify their ideas by sharing them with others, refining them as they speak”.…

    ENTJ People Are Realists

ENTJ people are realists, in the most basic sense of the word. Not only because their thinking is based upon a clear view of how things actually are in the world around them, but also because their ideas and strategies are structured around those unambiguous, "down to earth", commonsense beliefs which sum up the obvious and undeniable in life. But while ENTJs might be pragmatic about the immediate situation before them, they are scarcely satisfied with it until it can be made more productive, useful or valuable. The ENTJ's reasoning on such matters is always clear and generally unemotional. If action can improve an item or a situation then it ought to be taken, and the ENTJ will always be found in the midst of such action, organizing, planning…

After completing the Jung Typology Test, I found out that my personality type is ENFP which stands for extravert, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. I am actually very happy with my personality results because they were very accurate with how I think I am as a person. My results show that I am an extravert and I agree because I definitely feel energized when I am with people because I can connect with others and share my interests and feelings with them. I am happiest when I can spend time with my friends and family and just talk about everything that comes to mind. My results also show that I am an intuitive person which means that I perceive information by using what my gut tells me.…

Everyone Needs Fulfillment and Joy (ENFJ) If asked what the letters “ENFJ” stood for, many a passerby on the street could answer correctly, “Extroverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging,” a personality type based on the popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator questionnaire. Some disregard the growing interest in personality tests as a fad, but that does not dismiss the fact that America has become increasingly concerned with personality, specifically with that of the extroverted student. In the article “Bring On the Elites!”, Joel Stein argues that education should better prepare students for the future, and many teachers use this reasoning to justify a focus on nurturing communicative abilities key to extroverted personalities. However, despite…

Reading on the “INFP: The Idealist” web page, she scans the list of characteristics that are commonly associated with the INFP personality type including: “Warm, caring and interested in other people, Prefers to work alone, Values close relationships”. She realizes that this description is also nearly accurate, unfortunately, it did not go into as much detail she wanted it to be. Due to the lack of details describing who she is, once again, she finds herself back at the 16 Personality website. This time, she selects the page that first appeared after the test was taken, titling the article with “ADVOCATE PERSONALITY.” That page has a laundry list of ways to describe, understand, and develop herself as a person.…

After taking the Career Assessments, I have learned new things about myself when I took the Type Focus, Focus 2, and the O*Net assessments. The assessments were quite interesting because it reveals your personality, interests, and values. In result, in each test they show a list a list of careers that I would best match with. When I took the personality portion of the Type Focus test, my results said that my personality is ENFJ (Extraversion, Intuition, Feelings, Judging), which means that I “glow with warm and sympathy,” and that is true because I am always concern and caring about my family, friends, and strangers. Another thing I learned about myself is that I understand people very well and want to learn more about the human behavior and as a psychology student therefore this is very beneficial.…
