Tybalt is one of the main antagonists in Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet. He is the cousin of Juliet which means he is a Capulet. Tybalt is a very violent character and has a short temper. The quote, ”The fiery Tybalt, with his sword prepared”, was said by Benvolio and shows that he is the type of character who wants to pick a fight, especially with the Montagues which they are sworn enemies of. I chose Nuka’s character from the Lion King II to be Tybalt. I chose him to be Tybalt because, in the movie he tried to catch and kill Simba and died in the process of chasing him by being crushed under a pile of dead trees. He did this for pride and wanted other lions and especially his mother to look up to him as a hero. In Romeo and Juliet, …show more content…
He is also seen as wise and this can be proven when he says, “These violent delights have violent ends.” This shows he knows how there love might end and foreshadows the end of the play which we know ends with the death of Romeo and Juliet. I chose Rafiki to be Friar Lawrence because just like in The Lion King II, he was helping Kovu and Kiara instead of pushing them away from each other like everyone else. Though Rafiki is also sometimes seen as just a crazy old monkey, I think he is also wise like Friar Lawrence because of how he knew that Simba was alive in the Lion King and how he went to go get Simba. This is why I chose Rafiki to be Friar Lawrence's …show more content…
He is seen as a loving fatherly character towards Juliet and when Paris first ask for her hand in marriage his father says,“Let two more summers wither in their pride, Ere we may think her ripe to be a bride.” He wants Juliet to wait a few more years and even mentions that she should find love anad have Paris woo her first. Later on, we see Capulet very angry with Juliet for not wanting to marry Paris. I chose Simba to be capulet because he is also a loving father towards his daughter Kiara, but just like Capulet he was angry with her when they didn't agree with their views on
