Tori Shekastehband is an incredible young lady. As I write this reference for her, I cannot think of a better way to start it, because Tori personifies the very best that young people have to offer. Friendly, thorough, determined, motivated, compassionate and intelligent, Tori is a whirlwind of action and potential. She, quite simply, personifies a leader in both action and words. It is my pleasure to write her a reference for your consideration of her application to be a summer counselor with Bahamas Methodist Habitat.

Having known Tori since she was in ninth grade, I have had the privilege of seeing her grow and mature. She was in my English classes twice, once in ninth grade and once in twelfth grade. Tori was always prepared for

Tori is totally dedicated to helping the world around her. She has been involved heavily in programs designed to improve the lives of others. When she participated in Operation Christmas Child, she not only donated boxes NUT she went to the North Carolina facility to help put together additional boxes and to help ship the boxes overseas. She has participated in cleaning the French Broad River in North Carolina, and has also cleaned up beaches with Sea Turtle Hospital. There is just nothing that Tori will not do to help her fellow man. I am certain that with her affable nature and keen intellect she is a commodity wherever she goes to serve others! Her compassion known no bounds, which makes her even more remarkable.

Tori Shekastehband is a blend of both action and potential. Not content to stand by and watch things happen, Tori leads and makes things happen. Academically, she is strong and responsible. In the welding world, Tori has redefined what it means to be good at a craft. In reference to compassion, Tori leads by example as she strives to help others whenever and wherever she can. In short, Tori Shakestehbamd would be an incredible asset to your program and I recommend her without a moment’s

She is one of the most empathetic, kind, and exceptional humans I have encountered in my 14 years of teaching. I teach Rachel in my 8th grade advanced ELA class. Her academics, character, innate curiosity, intrinsic motivation, ethical standards, and unwavering desire to give back, have put Rachel in a class of her own. In fact, for the first time in over 25+ years, the eighth-grade team created a brand new end-of-the-year award for our graduation awards assembly.…
