Tom Brady was born August 3, 1977 in San Mateo, California. He is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots (NFL). He is one of two players to win five Super Bowls and the only player to win them all playing for one team. Tom Brady began his professional football career after playing college football for the University of Michigan, and was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Brady didn’t just go to college for sports. He got his degree in organizational studies in the University of Michigan. Which served as a very useful thing to have in the NFL, requiring intelligence, memorization and leadership. Not only for football, but for business as well. He has helped numerous communities such as fighting hunger in Africa and helps with Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps ill children and their families overcome their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. His current annual salary is $1 million. Brady has been honored with four Super Bowl MVP awards (the most ever by a single player), has won two league MVP awards (2007 and 2010), has been to 12 Pro Bowls, and led his team to 14 division titles, which is more than any other quarterback in NFL history. By 1990, Brady had regularly attended the San Francisco 49ers games at Candlestick Park for years, where he was a fan of quarterback Joe Montana. Since then, Brady has always looked up to Montana as his idol and one of his inspirations.
