This quote from a respected professor from the University of California at Irvine. McQueeny explains in this quote from a recent article he published the ways alcohol can damage a teens brain. It should be obvious to the US congressman that have debated this topic over the years that the legal drinking age in America should stay at 21 if not even be raised to a higher age. America wants to keep its teens safe as they are the next generation to hopefully do great things, but if the legal alcoholic drinking age is changed down to 18, us as a nation will be endangered.
