I generally trusted that being an Introvert with a low dominance was a weak characteristic and achievement must be driven with an identity of an Extrovert with high dominance. The explanation behind this was when my superiors passed me up for a promotion because they felt that I was too resigned, too calm, and excessively reluctant in my choices, making it impossible for me to be considered as a leader. They were worried about the possibility that my coworkers would just reject my power. At the time, I was frustrated because I believe I had failed and still right up till today, I try to free myself of my propensities of questioning my choices and my identity. Along these lines, I took the Human Centric Jung Typology Test and was interested in perceiving what my own style was and was shocked that I just scored 6% in the classification of an Extrovert (on the grounds that with diligent work, I thought, I could rewire my identity). Active Listening Assignment A friend came to me with concern over her future career options. She expressed her want of many different career fields that she wished to pursue. This was problematic because if she tried to pursue all of her interests, she would need to attend school for about 8 years and be buried in student debt. Although she knew that she would be unable to pursue all of her possible career paths, she wasn’t sure which she wanted to follow and didn’t want to make the wrong choice.…

The areas that will be outlined are the collective unconscious, primordial images, and the main focus will be on the well-adjusted person and the archetype shadow as these provide a sound basis to the analysis of Bart’s personality trait from a Neo-Freudian prospective. Jung claimed that we all have a part of our mind called the collective unconscious (Burger, 2004; Weiten, 2002). Thoughts and images are contained in the collective unconscious; these are difficult to bring into awareness (Burger, 2004; Weiten, 2002). According to Jung, unconscious psychic characteristics are inherited from our ancestors (Burger, 2004; Weiten, 2002). In addition, primordial images are contained in the collective unconscious which gives newborns an ability to react in a certain manner to an infinite amount of images that maybe encounter throughout the life (Burger, 2004).…

Introverts tend to sit back and analyze the pros and cons of every available option before acting.…
