The electoral college shows the flaws and biases within the constitution, because the popular vote does not elect our government, but those who are in power to ado so. Society has taught us that the electoral college is there to not be bias, but why not just let the majority of people pick the government and the policies they find necessary for them, then we would have a true democracy. Since it seems as if the elites are running the colonization of America, what was the reason for living British rule anyway?

This is the correct stance to go with because if it does not stand for all people, how can we stand for it? Federalist even went as far as saying slavery was a horrible moral tragedy, but decided this is what had to happen to keep the county going in the right direction. To legally enslave a race of people, sounds like a humungous issue of the constitution not protecting everyone, white women were also not included in this 1789 document. So how can we stand for something that gives the government that does not protect all people, and also gives the government more power. The constitution has inhibited the growth of
