Puzzled by the text I started looking through my mind to see if I did anything wrong. Usually that would be the case, but this time it was different. Olivia was in high school at the time, so she was usually with her friends and barely home. Rosie was in fifth grade,so she was too young to understand or put things together. discretely my parents started to talk less rather than fight. Even when my dad moved into my bedroom and I started sleeping in my parents room with my mom, I still was oblivious and thought it was because of my dad 's snoring. Or maybe I was just in denial, nevertheless I was aware on the night my mom asked me thru tears whether or not she was a good mother. For the first 16 years of my life nothing really changed for me. During that time, I went to the same school, lived in the same house, and had the same friends. Him doing this made one of my irrational beliefs present. And that irrational belief was catastrophizing, it just made me think “Nothing is going to go right for the rest of the day.” Those thoughts appeared because, I had the assumption that my mother was going to come in the house and yell at me.
