To know the effects of WWI I’ll need to inform you about a few of the many causes that caused the Great War. On the twenty-eighth of June 1914 an Archduke by the name of Franz Ferdinand (Austrian) was assassinated by a Bosnian Serb Gavrilo Princip and the two country’s from which they hail where already not in a good relationships so the assassination was just icing on the cake. Austria and Serbia both had powerful allies who were not ready for war and the allies had allies so it was as if Europe was one big powder keg ready to blow. The major and minor effects of WWI was that industry started to boom for a lot of countries most of these countries where not affected by the war though this in turn made littler countries more economically

None of America’s home front was hit nothing was bombed they still had their factories so they were able to keep producing like they were at war. Germany was completely stripped of everything it had the whole country was separated even the capital of Berlin was split into four separate parts with and part of Germany under the Soviet Union’s control was oppressed and starved. The German factories where destroyed which meant much of its economic income was vanquished so Germany was in debt trying to pay reparations to Great Britain and France so America designed a halfwit plan to give loans/cash money to Germany to rebuild factories because Great Britain and France owed America money for loans and such during the war. Many of the returning men came back with disorders that have never been named or seen before like PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) which they called shell shock at the time because there was not an official
