In the 1920s society had a period of time when jobs, families and other struggles were happening which the lead to create the name Boom Industries or the BOOM. The impact the boom had many effects on everything such as the First World War. America was finally able to get back on their feet after being against the European countries. America had plenty of money to invest. American experienced a big difference in the work place, whenever there were opportunities for a job there was assembly lines being formed. Which made consumers goods like radios, automobiles cheaper for Americans to buy also core goods such as coal and oil. Taxes have gotten cut in order for people to invest in factories. Also people were hearing about the new of the goods and the new way of shopping by ordering from catalogues. Honestly the changes of this revolution actually had mixed reviews, it helped some business and hurt them as well. Not only were business hurt from the changes but also the consumers as well but then again it was good for them. For example during the boom the railroads was great news to the American’s because that meant any goods could be transported to them. The negative part of that is since the railroads meant lower cost that business can cut corners, meaning selling foods that weren’t pure or safe. As for the working Americans they already underpaid and over worked plus bad condition’s like that wasn’t enough. But luckily around this time middle class were redeeming there self’s, some Americans received helped by the growth of quality and wages that came along with them. The Federal Road Act assisted on givng money to the state legislatures in 1924. With that being sad it made Americans get together and create a highway departments and match federal funds. Majority of the country created road building, towards the end of the decade because the success of the highway departments it created jobs for a lot of non
