Essay On The American Education System

There are different types of education systems throughout the world with different types of results. There are ones more successful than others and some that are still developing on how to teach their students and how to help their future. Many schools, such as those in Finland, have a good grasp on what to do with their students and improve their future. Though many feel that American Education System is a model of success, compared to the education system of Finland, the American System is in dire need of reform and there are many ways to help it do so.
The American Education System is ranked number 14 in the world, according to Ranking America. America is supposedly the strongest and toughest country in the world but it cannot improve its education system? According to Ranked, the United States has maintained the world’s strongest military in the world with a budget of $601 billion but barely spend $13,000 per public school. In many school systems across America, art programs, physical education programs, and music programs are being taken out so they can afford more of the core courses such as Math and Science. It seems to spend more money on the military and use that in itself as an excuse to not improve on the Education system. It is proven that countries with a smaller development rate spends more on the military and more on the education system and still succeed in the rankings. The United states has the number 1 ranking military yet the education system is only ranked 14. One may believe that the United States can distribute the money that is spent on the military to the school systems.
