The Age of Enlightenment does not have a formal date in pen as to when it began, but over the course of time, people began to change their way of understanding and thinking which started the enlightenment. What began the enlightenment was when people started to ask questions about the basic principles of the world, questions about parliament and math and science. Europeans didn’t want to continue their understanding unless they could accept all the basic principles of science and government as true. Once they started looking, they started to find answers. They began to have a better understanding of how the universe works and what is the best form of government for their country. Turning Point The Age of Enlightenment doesn’t necessarily have a turning point because the enlightenment itself was a major turning point in history.
