Testimony: I was blessed to grow up in a home with Christian parents. Every time the church doors were open my family was in attendance. At an early age I began to understand who Jesus was and at the age of nine I professed faith in Jesus Christ as my savior. I truly believe that I was saved on that day, but I did not fully understand how to live out the Christian life. I was very involved in my youth group in high school, but I did not have anyone in my life discipling me. I had a solid understanding of who Jesus was, but I did not know how to live in His image. He was born of a virgin and is both fully God and Fully man in one person. He perfectly lived the will of God and lived a prefect, sinless life. He was our substitute and died to pay our penalty for sin. • Holy Spirit o The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God that serves many different roles in the life of a believer. It convicts the lost, gives spiritual gifts, convicts the believer of sin, empowers the believer, and seals the believer. The Holy Spirit comes into the life of a believer at salvation. o Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 61:1; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30; 2 Timothy 1:14; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 John 4:13
• Humanity o All of humanity was created in the image of God, but all of humanity is sinful from birth and by owns on action. Because of sin mankind deserves the punishment sin.
