Thinking back to the past, our society has developed incredibly far. From delivering messages by hand, to sending quick texts with ease, America has made major advancements in their technology. As generations of the human race age, the people become smarter and more advanced, contributing to the developments, thinking and engineering new, creative ideas. This has been great for society in America. The majority of Americans do not have to worry about hunting and gathering food. Grocery stores are dense across the country where people can pick a large variety of food right off the shelf. They can even order food to be delivered straight to their front door. They have homes to live in, no longer struggling to find or build shelter to sleep in for the night. People can focus on what is …show more content…
Technology surrounds this country and far outside of the country. Technology has brought society to where it is now. It is what has created a more sustainable lifestyle, providing more comfort. This article is not to despise and tell the reader technology should not exist, but to better understand what the negatives of technology is to improve the use of it. Many believe that technology is a great adaptation mankind has created for our world; however, the way technology has progressed and how much America relies on it creates problems for the country and the environment outside of its borders. America would not be where it is today without it, and that is very understandable and plausible. Although this is very true, that still does not mean it does not contain flaws. In conclusion, technology is overpowering the psychological well-being of an individual’s creativity, creating harm to our environment, and putting the human race endanger to their own capabilities.
