Swiss warehouses and operations are open to anyone who might want to be a part of the Swiss market. Having a registered warehouse in Switzerland, customers in the country would be able to receive their products much faster, and it could also save a lot of money. Switzerland warehouses are set up with modern technology to keep the products stored properly. Switzerland is a very well established country and is said to be one of the best in the world. Their economy holds the 4th world ranking, and they currently have one of the highest GDP per capita in the world. They have many partners in trade such as Germany, India, United States, and France. They are ranked 17th in the largest amounts of exports in the world with about 296 billion dollars worth of exports. Some of their top exports include: gold, medicine, blood, and watches. Most of their exported goods are delivered to Germany, India, United States, and France. About 21% of Switzerland’s exports go to Germany such as medicine, blood, and gold. Switzerland traded 28.3 billions dollars of products to the United States including: medicines, optic and musical instruments, watches, and machinery. Switzerland is also ranked 18th in the world for its amount of imports which is 281 billion dollars worth. The top imported goods are gold, medicine, cars, jewelry, and blood. Most of the imported goods traded to Switzerland are from Germany, Italy, United States, France, and China. Switzerland receives about 17% of their imports from Germany in medicine, cars, gold, and petroleum each year. The United States traded 27 billion dollars worth of gold, medicines, art, antiques, instruments, and aircrafts to Switzerland last year. Switzerland’s trade balance is about 14.8 billion dollars, which is much better than what they were about 20 years ago. In 2006, the United States and Switzerland signed the “Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum” in order to help improve their trading system and to better establish the economic friendship between the two countries.
