If you’re single, you’re no longer alone. In fact, 44 percent of American adults are single, according to U.S. Census figures, which means there are over 100 million unattached folks out there. There are many reasons why so many people are single, from the changes in societal norms that say it is okay for women to stay unmarried longer to changes in technology, which could be causing people to drift further and further away from real connections. The bottom line is this: finding a mate in the world we live in can be a true challenge. While there are many tried and true methods for meeting people, alternative methods that save time and energy are gaining acceptance too. One such method is speed dating.
