There is a difference between spanking and abuse. Kids need to be disciplined, have respect for people, they need to go down the right road in life. Some kids want everything but they can't have everything they want that would be a spoiled kid, and spanking works the best for some kids. Parents should be allowed to spank their kids!
Discipline is teaching kids right from wrong, which people need to get through life because doing wrong has consequences and they would have to deal with that. The purpose of spanking kids is so that they learn their lesson from what they did was wrong. It is teaching them to not do it again. Abuse is completely different. Kids get used to parents yelling at them all the time so when they get bigger they are going to yell at other people. Taking things away teaches kids that it is okay to take things away from people, but kids are suppose to learn not to grab things from anyone else so that is teaching kids bad habits. Some kids are used to being yelled at and things taken away from that they don’t even care anymore they would just laugh and think it’s funny and do it all over again. Then all that leads to getting a butt spanking which shows that you have had enough and it’s time to listen and that works the best("Abuse or Not"). Other people think that spanking hurts kids self-esteem. Spanking helps self-esteem because your kids will thank their parents later because they taught them right and wrong so they know the difference, it is not the parents fault a kids didn’t listen and they got in trouble they got spanked to know what was wrong and praised for the good when kids get older it’s on them for their own actions. Spanking teaches kids a lot in life that they will need in life to be a responsible adult themselves, parents will see in the long run that they did what they could to teach their kids. It shows that when kids get older that they have learned a lesson or two from spanking from their parents, that is called good parenting if kids are responsible for
