With the amount of homework students get, the less time these teens get to spend with their family. According to a survey taken by Paul Luke from The Province, “Twenty-three percent of parents report that their children get five to 10 hours of homework a week, while 14 percent say it's more than 10 hours.” That amount of homework limits students to the amount of quality time they can spend with their families. “[Students] are so busy with homework, they have little [time] [...] to exercise and keep fit.” How are we supposed to go to school for 7-8 hours, come home and do homework, but yet get our physical activity in? It almost seems impossible. The amount of homework high schoolers receive each night really limits us to our daily activity. This is important because if we can’t be the active teens that we’re supposed to be, that can lead to other health issues down the road, which is why homework should be
