Losing something or someone that is really dear to your heart can have a long term effect on a person. It can affect the way the feel, and act. In the movie Shawshank Redemption Andy Dufresne, experiences the death of his wife. The movie follows Andy Dufresne who is sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison for the murders of his wife and her lover and is sentenced to a tough prison. However, only Andy knows he didn’t commit the crimes. Andy deals with death of freedom by him convincing the warden to let him be the banker of the prison, digging a hole leading to his freedom, and by taking money from the warden.
The death of freedom can sometimes cause a person to act in extreme ways.
