She is still a heterosexual. If a bisexual is in a monogamous relationship with a female this does not make her a homosexual. It does not change the fact that she also is sexually attracted to the opposite sex. Sexual orientation exists separately form sexual behavior. This becomes evident with virgins. A person’s sexual experience does not determine their sexual orientation. It is their sexual attractions that determine their sexual orientation. If you were a non-heterosexual teacher or coach you ran the risk of someone finding out about your sexual orientation which could and probably would lead to losing your job, your house, and possibly any future job in the field. With the recent progression of equality in the majority of the US this reality is greatly reduced. Today there are some teachers and coaches who are openly homosexual, or bisexual. The reduced risk of discrimination may allow me someday to feel more comfortable expressing myself openly and honestly. As an educator I want people to say because of you I did not give
