Essay On Senior Project

My Senior Project was an interesting experience. When we started, we had to pick a career that we thought we would go into. That was difficult for me and several others in the class because we did not know what we wanted to do. We had to make decision, however, so I decides I would do Computer Hardware and Software engineering. This was a broad field, so it left plenty of room for me to change my mind. At first, I thought I wanted to go into the software side, and I even started to learn how to code, but by the end of the project, I ended up back in the hardware side. I did not manage my time well at the beginning. I only planned about 12 hours worth of the project. This, coupled with the fact that I was still undecided on what exactly it was that I was going to do, made for some very worrisome days. I did eventually get an idea of what I wanted my project to be when I was done and I was able to plan out and manage my time much better. I only really figured out what I wanted to do because all the help and advice my advisor, Josh Rhoades, gave me. He had many great ideas that were usually unlike anything I could ever think of and always helped with every issue I ever brought to him. I did get ideas from other teachers as well, such as Mrs. Leiblie and Mr. Walsten. My advisor could have helped me with everything I needed, but it was also helpful to get advice and help from other sources. What they had to offer me helped to differentiate my project and make it more interesting. The only person outside of school that I got help from, however, was my grandfather. He helped me with the last part of my project, which is also the only part that I think my advisor may not have been able to help me
