Essay On Selkie Monologue

I had swam into the hidden undersea cave that contained my human clothing. Last evening I’d had a vision; I would find my lifemate in the area above the sea caves. I needed to find her as my vision of the woman, was too strong to disregard. She’d been a well-built sturdy young Scot lass with sparkling green eyes and long dark auburn hair which flows to her waist.

I had seen her in my dream, dancing at the local Highland Gathering. The young woman of my dream was my destiny. My name’s Mackenzie Sutherland and I’m a Selkie of the Clan Sutherland. We Selkie’s are creatures long thought of myth and that was the way we Selkie’s need it to stay.

As I walked into the gathering of the clans, I glance over to a young woman dancing

I understood the ancient knowledge all women are born with. The sexual power we hold over men. My parents always told me “Skye, behave your wicked self”. I’m not wicked at all, I just enjoyed my life. I noticed the young dark-haired stranger who watched me with a lustful gleam in his eye and a smile on his face. He was a large man who possessed a strength about him.

He was the most handsome man I had ever seen, and he was taller than most of the men in my village. His jet-black hair was exceptionally long and hung down his back in shining silken waves. His eyes were deep brown like the whiskey my father drank. His skin was smooth and tan. His body was hard and taut with muscles use to hard work. He had broad shoulders, which tapered down to narrow a waist and a flat belly.

It was his wicked smile that made my heart beat wildly beneath my breast. I was not so young at sixteen to not understand what would be on his mind. My body and my mind were thinking similar thoughts to his. But the closest I’d ever came to experience, were the naughty books I read; which my father had left hidden under the cushion of his favorite chair. As I looked at that tall, long- haired man I was sure he knew what to do with those forbidden

The leader of Albuquerque, Richard Berry made a discourse that can help a considerable measure of the significant urban areas all around if considered. While strolling not far off, he happened to run over a man that was holding a card board. There were words composed on it and after looking carefully he learnt that the man had been requesting help finding a vocation. He and his staff began a citywide activity that would see to it that the greater part of the destitute land positions and also places to rest. A great deal of the people tuning in to him named his discussion a blunt and idealistic one.…

Normally, it was not unlike Kolda to rise before a human had any right to, on the cusp of an ink-blotted morning, when the trees were still working tirelessly to shake the vestiges of dew from their waxy-leaves. When, on the horizon, a burnt orange ribbon lined its lip, radiating waves of indigo and cobalt and casting the world beneath it in an eerie, complacent glow. A creamy fog would trickle across the hyssop field from border of Sylph Grove, a merciful cover to nature’s cities beneath, blotting the cotton-hued blanket with splotches of bold lavender. The fog brought the smell of the mountains with it, mating with the wooden and charcoal scents of her home, to wrest her from her dreams. She would obey, rising seamlessly, donning her fur-lined…
