Introduction
The purpose of this qualitative descriptive phenomenological study is to supplement the body of research with information concerning the clarification of the needs and considerations that have been set forth to satisfy the educational needs of students with exceptionalities in the ongoing institutionalization of a seamless education system in Trinidad and Tobago. This information was initially planned to be attained via the investigation of perspectives, experiences and expectations of parents and proposals and provisions of the SSSD.

Also, the research questions that were operationalized for this study are:

1. What are the experiences, perspectives and expectations of parents of students with disabilities regarding the development of a seamless education system in Trinidad and Tobago?
2. What are the connotations for students with disabilities within the proposals for seamlessness in the education system in Trinidad and Tobago?
Qualitative Method
Harding (1987) stated that methodology is a theory and analysis of how research should proceed. To address the purpose and research questions of this study, a qualitative research methodology was employed. This methodology provided the blue print for the procedures that were undertaken to gather and analyze the necessary data.
